Brian and Lori Nuss founded Vinoce from high above the valley floor on Mt. Veeder in 1996. Over the last three decades, we have developed an intimate knowledge of growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on the rugged, hillside slopes. Vinoce is devoted to creating wines that reflect the true expressions of Mount Veeder with balance, power, and uniqueness.
The estate on the northern end of Mt. Veeder is made up of 4 blocks split between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The dramatic topography and south facing exposures offer the grapes a perfect growing environment, as well as one of the finest mountain skylines in the Napa Valley.
We also produce Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosado, and a St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards owned by close friends of the family. Since most of our wines come from very rural locations we chose a more centrally located tasting oasis just outside downtown Napa at the historic Tannery building on the Napa River. Our funky and sheik tasting room offers education and entertainment with authentic "Wine Nut" twist. Tim and Ray, both members of the Vinoce family practically live there so come taste through the fabulous wines with them today.
